about the artist
Mikayla is a ceramic artist based in Oklahoma city, Oklahoma. Starting pottery in 2021 during the pandemic, pottery was a way to find balance and peace in the chaos. Self-taught, Mikayla created a studio space in her home and found herself within this art form. Pottery has been a way to be still in the moment and connect her mind, body, and soul through one medium.

Inspired by earth’s beauty, her vessels incorporate beautiful shapes with earthy tones, and embellishments of natural crystals and native designs. Each piece is intentionally created for functional use, from cups for your coffee, to incense holders for a spiritual reset.
